এনটিআরসিএর মাধ্যমে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্তদের এম.পি.ও নিয়ে হয়রানির শেষ কোথায় ? গত ফেব্রুয়ারিতে এনটিআরসিএর মাধ্যমে বেসরকারি স্কুল-কলেজে শিক্ষক নিয়োগ হয়। কেটে গেছে ছয়মাস। কিন্তু দেখা গেছে অনেকেরই এখনো এম.পি.ও ভুক্ত হতে পারেননি। তাঁদের সাথে কথা বলে জানা গেছে তুচ্ছ কারনে বার বার ফাইল রিজেক্ট হয়ে যাচ্ছে । কখনো উপজেলা থেকে, কখনো জেলা শিক্ষা অফিস থেকে, আবার কখনো বিভাগ থেকে। এমন অবস্থায় বিনা বেতনে চাকরি করে মানবেতর জীবনযাপন করছেন অনেকে। শিশির ভাই (ছদ্মনাম) গত নিয়োগে নিয়োগ প্রাপ্ত হন। এরপর তিনি এম.পি.ওর জন্য তিনবার আবেদন করেও এম.পি.ও ভুক্ত হতে পারেন নি। এখন তিনি পুরো হতাশ। তিনি আক্ষেপ করে বলেন মহান পেশায় এসে শেষ পর্যন্ত না আবার পরিবার নিয়ে না খেয়ে থাকতে হয় । এম.পি.ওর নামে আর কতকাল বেসরকারি শিক্ষকদের হয়রানি হতে হবে তা কেউ বলতে পারে না। সরকারি ভাবে যেহেতু নিয়োগ হয়েছে সেহেতু বেতন নিয়ে এত ঝামেলার কারন কিইবা হতে পারে এই ডিজিটাল বাংলাদেশে আমাদের মত সাধারন মানুষের মাথায় ঢুকে না। যথাযথ কর্তৃপক্ষের কাছে সবিনয় আবেদন যেন এম.পি.ও জটিলতা নিরসনে যথাযথ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করে শিক্ষক

কনে বাড়িতে বাহারউদ্দিন আপনাদের হয়তো মনে আছে এর আগেও বাহারউদ্দিনকে নিয়ে লিখেছিলাম। তার বাহারী কার্যকলাপ কারও অজানা নয়। এবার হয়েছে আর একটি মজার ঘটনা । কামাল ভাই, বাহারউদ্দিনের কলিগ, অফিসে গিয়ে বাহারউদ্দিনকে খোঁজে পাচ্ছেন না । তিনি বিষয়টি নিয়ে চিন্তিত । ছোট ভাই হিসেবে বাহারউদ্দিনকে অনেক স্নেহ করেন, ভাল- মন্দ খোঁজ খবর রাখের। পরে অফিসের অন্য কলিগের কাছে জানতে পারেন বাহারউদ্দিন কনে দেখার জন্য ছুটি নিয়েছে। বাহারউদ্দিনের বয়সের কথা নিশ্চয়ই আপনাদের মনে আছে। প্রায় আটত্রিশ হবে। বিকেলের দিকে কামাল ভাই বাহারউদ্দিনকে ফোন দিলেন খোঁজ নেওয়ার জন্য । তিনি বাহারউদ্দিনকে বললেল, কিব্যাপার বাহারউদ্দিন , কি খবর? পাত্রী পছন্দ হয়েছে? বাহারউদ্দিন যা বলল তাতে কামাল ভাই সহ আমরা সবাই হাসতে হাসতে শেষ। বাহারউদ্দিনের ঘটনাটা ছিল এরকম, আগের দিন অফিস থেকে ছুটি নিয়ে রেখেছি পাত্রী দেখতে যাব বলে। বড় বোন আর ভাগনেকে ফোন দিলাম তোমারা সকাল সকাল চলে এসো এক জায়গায় পাত্রী দেখতে যাব । আপা বড় ভাগনে মনির কে নিয়ে সকালেই চলে আসলেন। মনির বড় আপার বড় ছেলে। মাত্র বি,এস,সি ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং শেষ করে মোটামুটি একটা

গ্রাম বাংলার গল্প প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের পাশ দিয়ে বয়ে চলা নদী, বর্ষার জলে টইটম্বুর হয়ে, দুকোল উপচে উঠে আসে বসতবাড়ির কাছে, এমন একটা গ্রামের গল্প আজ লিখতে যাচ্ছি। একটি বাজার কে কেন্দ্র করে চারটি রাস্তা একত্রে মিলিত হয়ে চৌরাস্তা তৈরি হয়েছে । এই চৌরাস্তার চার রাস্তার পাশ গিরে গ্রামটি বৃস্তিত । ফসল লাগানোর সময় সবুজ, আর ফসল ঘরে তোলার সময় সোনালী আভা যেন উপচে পড়ে। চৌরাস্তায় গড়ে উঠা বাজার গ্রামটির পুরনো ঐতিহ্য । বাজারে সবরকম প্রয়োজনীয় দ্রব্যাদির দোকান থাকার কারনে আশেপাশের যে সব গ্রামে বাজার নেই তারাও ছুটে আসে নিত্য প্রয়োজনীয় জিনিসপত্র ক্রয়করার জন্য । সারাদিনের কাজ শেষে বাজারে চায়ের দোকানে আড্ডাও বেশ জমিয়ে দেয় গ্রামের মানুষ । তাদের আড্ডায় আসলে এলাকার সব খবর পাওয়া যায়। গ্রামে উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক ও প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় থাকায় কমবেশি সকলেই তাদের ছেলেমেয়েদের অন্ততঃ মাধ্যমিক শ্রেণী পর্যন্ত পড়াতে পারে। গ্রামে আধুনিক সভ্যতার ছোঁয়া লাগতে শুরু করেছে । আসলে বিদ্যুৎ আসার পরই গ্রামের চেহারা ঘুরে যায় । গ্রামের প্রায় সম্পূর্ণ অংশে মুসলমানদের বাস হলে
